Recently, the multifunctional catheters for laparoscopy/thoracic surgery/neurosurgery/urology developed by Hubei KangQuan Medical have been implemented on a large scale in tertiary hospitals across multiple provinces and cities. Taking a hospital in Central China as an example, its general surgery department used KangQuan laparoscopic drainage catheters (with a super-lubricating hydrophilic coating) to drain complex hepatic abscesses, resulting in a 30% decrease in post-operative infection rates; neurosurgery used the extracranial drainage catheters (with imaging design) for precise hematoma localization, shortening the operation time by 40%.
KangQuan Medical engineers stated that this series of catheters uses medical-grade polyurethane material, combining flexibility and resistance to bending, and is compatible with CT/MRI image guidance. The product has currently passed CE certification and plans to expand into overseas markets.
